The Colonial Greenway is a joint project of the County and the various municipalities through which a number of trails pass. It is about a 1/2 marathon loop of Leatherstocking, Saxon Woods, Hutch, Twin Lakes, and Nature Study, with about 1 mile of road.

- Paine to Pain is a premier half-marathon (or so) that covers the Colonial Greenway. It is held in October. The name derives from the fact that it starts by the Thomas Paine Cottage in New Rochelle. (My review of the race as a spectator.)
